Step 5 - Get UISL Student HUD
A HUD is a 'heads-up-display' we developed that allows students to have special
skills like raising your hand. Your instructor will provide a copy of this tool
and there are dispensers in the Idahonia classrooms. Using headphones and a
microphone will allow clear group discussions.
Step 6 - Join the Course Group and Make Friends
Each class taught in Idahonia will be provided a unique SL Group to join.
Wearing your group identity will help you identify your classmates while in
Idahonia. Offering SL 'friendship' to classmates and your instructor will allow
the highest degree of communication. It is acceptable and encouraged in SL to
call each other by their SL name.
